Abstrakti
This article discusses the (emergency) measures introduced or activated by governments as a
result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and which (un)lawfully restrict the fundamental freedoms of
citizens to combat further spread of the virus. In this context, the focus is on the consequences
of the introduction of tracking and contact identifi cation, on the „corona-notifi cation application“, legitimized as a „scaling tool“, and on the recommendations, guidelines and legislation
surrounding the use of this corona app.
