This study examines how Sami museum and archive personnel (N = 9) perceive the role of these institutions in connecting traditional knowledge with current educational practices and the Sami pedagogical framework. The findings underscore a burgeoning interest in digital resources for education alongside the crucial role of heritage institutions in cultural revitalisation and highlight the importance of involving museums and archives in engaging with Sami communities to develop Sami cultural heritage education. Furthermore, the study presents the challenges to and potential of Sami cultural heritage digitalisation.
