Abstrakti

The Living in the Landscape (Lila) summer school is an international and interdisciplinary platform for landscape research, where artistic exploration and academic inquiry meet. Over five schools, 95 participants have contributed to this growing community, sharing not only knowledge but also moments of connection, discovery, and reflection. To mark and celebrate this ongoing journey, we
are proud to present the Kindred – Living in the Landscape exhibition and seminar, where held in Nesna, Norway, from 19–22 May 2025. This catalogue gathers contributions that respond to these questions in thoughtful, imaginative, and
provocative ways. Together, they offer a multi-vocal portrait of what it means to live with the landscape – not as observers, but as kindred beings entwined in a shared world.
