Abstrakti
The CLIMATE CHANNEL brought together artists and organizations with mutual aims & concerns. From the outset, the various organizations and artists debated a specific theme or aspect of climate change. The aim of the artists was to create easily understood current art pieces commenting on the background of, and links to, climate change. The Climate Channel discussed the following themes: Bioeconomy/the economic use & abuse, of forests, climate anxiety among young adults, the links between free trade agreements and associated difficulties in climate change mitigation, the potential post-fossil future, the effects of low snowfall on Nordic sports culture, the environmental impact of mass food production, and the roleof humanity in the climate crisis.
