title = "Finland",
abstract = "Finland has interests in both polar regions, as the country is one of the five States that have a role in the decision-making of both regions, at the Arctic Council and at Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings. The country's interests are broader and more significant in the Arctic region, as it is one of the Arctic States. As an Arctic country, Finland needs to tackle both domestic Arctic issues and issues relating to the shared interests of the Arctic States. A long-standing northern issue for Finland has been how it treats its Indigenous S{\'a}mi People, including their collective rights.",
