Presentation of research from the Gifts from the Sentient Forest project funded by Kone Foundation about the plight of forests and trees in northern Finland, and examining the phenomena of pareidolia as a gateway to better understanding approaches to interactions with trees, forests and sacred landscapes in terms of their cultural, ecological, historical and spiritual values.
