Kuvaus

Artist-researchers Heidi Pietarinen from the University of Lapland and Melanie Sarantou from the Kyushu University have conducted in-depth work on the innovative BioARTech laboratory environment at the University of Lapland, and the BioFoodLab at the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, and use of available resources for a bioart. They will approach this research from an artistic research viewpoint. The collaboration will result in joined workshops, publications, and artistic/design exhibition outcomes. The collaboration will include mutual research visits, with presentations of ongoing research funded by the University of Lapland and The Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation.
