Head of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Scientific Institute No. 5, Professor Yuriy ZHORNOKUI and Senior Lecturer of this Department Sofia POPOVA invited a researcher of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland (Rovaniemi, Finland), PhD, Associate Professor Olena SUSHCH to conduct a binary lesson. She told the second-year students about the peculiarities of the institution of custody and guardianship in Ukraine and focused on numerous legal problems, both domestic and cross-border, arising in connection with armed aggression. Olena Petrivna also presented to the students statistics on the uncertainty of the legal status of children and cases of illegal adoption of Ukrainian children.
