Abstract

Our summer school began with a lecture on language and color perception by Kirill Istomin. He spoke about Russian blue and from then on we started paying attention to it in the landscapes we dwelled. The Subtle Russian blue is a collection of personal perceptions of the blues seen in the landscape around Syktyvkar, Onezhie and Otla.
