Abstract

The roadmap translates the experiences and lessons learned from the Cap-Share project's community-based workshops into practical guidance for planning, implementing, and following up capacity-sharing processes in Arctic contexts. Grounded in Indigenous research ethics and participatory approaches, it emphasizes co-creation, reciprocity, equity, well-being, long-term engagement, and respect for Indigenous rights, knowledge systems, and self-determination. We hope this resource will support researchers, practitioners, communities, and project partners working towards more ethical, inclusive, and sustainable collaboration across the Arctic. The layout and visualisations of the roadmap are created by Matias Tenhu.
