Abstract
This chapter demonstrates an enriched reflective and interpretive learning experience made possible by a process of close-up photography as a form of documentation prior to an artistic work in a visual literacy workshop (VLW) done
by youth in the Arctic region. The results of this study have proven to be a successful tool for research in the field of representation and interpretation to support and build useful knowledge about reflective thinking for society.
