Abstract
We present the design and implementation of a virtual graveyard accessible through an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience. The virtual environment recreates two graveyards, both heritage sites that are currently inaccessible, using 3D models based on photographs. The design prioritizes realism and dignity, offering a respectful virtual visit. The experience will be made available to the public in a heritage museum, serving a diverse audience, including those visiting to remember family heritage, individuals interested in history, and visitors seeking an educational museum experience.
