Project Details


VEO-Video Enhanced Observation is an Erasmus+ funded Project led By Newcastle University. VEO is iPad-based application developed by Paul Miller and John Haines. The VEO-app allows users to record lessons, tag interesting moments during recording, reflect on videos and share videos with other users. VEO-project aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning through using an innovative technological approach to support initial teacher training and continuing professional development. It aims to provide a tool to enable teachers to improve their monitoring and assessment of student learning.At the University of Lapland VEO is trialled by student teachers and teacher educators for teaching practice purposes.
