Personal profile

Research interests

I work at the interface of marketing, organization, and tourism studies. My research interests include the social theory of practice, sensory turn, affect, leisure studies, organizational research, service design and ethnographic research methods. My entire academic career, I have actively developed sensory ethnographic methods. My current research projects explore the embodiment of the trans-corporeal and dynamic encounters between humans, nonhumans, and inland water. My long-term grounding concern is the bodily and sensory encounters with human and nonhuman actors in the leisure Servicescape settings.
