Research interests
My research interests cover sociology and cultural history of home, everyday life and dwelling. My doctoral research was ethnographical inquiry into people's practical ways of managing with the gradually mounting stuff with which they share their lives. Besides living with things I am also keenly interested in sharing our lives with the also ever accumulating yet unwanted material surplus: trash.
