Personal profile
Research interests
I am a a multidisciplinary scholar (D. Soc.Sci) with a background in organization and management studies. My work is guided by feminist philosophy, especially new materialism. My previous work has focused on sleep and dreaming by mixing organizational studies with psychoanalytical theories. More recently I have immersed myself in the advancement of qualitative methodologies in social sciences and artistic research. My current research topics relate to sustainable tourism futures, practices and theories of care, critical animal studies, posthumanist theories and academic activism. I work currently as a post doctoral scholar as part of the Intraliviving in the Anthropocene group in project Envisioning Proximity Tourism with New Materialism (Academy of Finland, 2019-2023).
