I'm a researcher of the northern politics, societies and cultures, currently examining northern democracy and civil activism and on the other hand, change in reindeer herding cultures. My previous research topics have included for example Northern identity politics, politics of revival movement Laestadianism, Sami political history and China's Arctic politics.
