Personal profile

Research interests

I’m a cultural historian and management and organization studies scholar, interested in the possibilities of microhistory in historical writing.

In my research I combine cultural history with management and organization studies. My research interests lie in questions related with power, feminism, gender, theorization and organizing in non-corporate contexts. Furthermore, the interface of creative writing and scientific research are of interest to me. Methodologically I’m familiar with microhistory and qualitative research methods.

At the moment I’m working on my dissertation: a microhistorical study of a Finnish author and preacher Martta Kaukomaa (1895-1992).
