Research interests
I am passionate about contributing to the sustainable transition by research activities. I believe we can achieve remarkable results by combining green and digital transition towards more sustainable world for humans and living ecosystems.
I have personally witnessed alarming changes in our environment and natural ecosystems in beautiful and fragile Arctic areas. Thus, I am very concerned about of the climate change and the loss of biodiversity. I am keen to contribute to sustainable development of businesses and I hope I am able to support companies and organisations in sustainable transitions. I think we can facilitate major changes with actions based on research and novel technology solutions.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher on intellectual property rights, intellectual property management and sustainability in the SHARE project. The project explores the emerging need for embedding strong environmental sustainability in the intellectual property rights and finance-related regulation of the innovation ecosystem of sustainable technologies, like climate change mitigation technologies.
I consider myself as a law & management researcher, especially in the areas of commercial law, technology management, and product/project management. My research interests include intellectual property rights, sustainability, technology management, legal technology, proactive law, proactive contracting, collaborative contracts, open innovation, and agile project management.
My first education was in industrial engineering and management. I worked 12 years for Nokia corporation in product management and technology marketing. I was involved in mobile and desktop software development and gained strong orientation towards technology and digitalisation. I have also worked in digital transformation of tourism businesses, both in private and public sector.
