Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests lie in international human rights, EU fundamental rights, and critical legal theory, with a particular focus on gender and sexuality, post-structural theory, and governmentality. I have also worked extensively on Sámi cultural heritage and Indigenous research ethics. I have published my work in leading cultural studies, law and the humanities and critical legal journals, such as Law & Critique, Law, Culture and the Humanities and Gender, Place and Culture.

I currently work as a postdoctoral fellow and project coordinator in the project Sámi Democratic Engagement in the Energy Transition: Advancing Justice, Legitimacy and Participatory Governance (SápmiDem), where my research addresses energy transition in Sápmi, Sámi democratic participation and the interplay of rights and politics in free, prior and informed consent.
