Research interests

I am LL.M, Doctoral Researcher at the University of Lapland, Faculty of Law.  My research areas are contract law, proactive contracting and contract design. I study the problems of current contract thinking and practice and try to solve them with the help of AI-based information design. In my research, I create solutions to express the content of contracts in a more user-friendly, functional and efficient way.

I am involved in the following research projects

HILMARI Carbon sinks and climate benefits through managed risks: governance of forests and wood products (University of Lapland)

BOOST (Boost for biodiversity offsets) project, as a contract law and drafting expert (SYKE)

TOIVO - Smooth and responsible RDI activities through effective contracts (University of Vaasa)

I teach contract design in the course Proactive contracting and contract design.
