Research interests
I am a Doctoral Researcher and member of Law, Technology and Sustainability Transitions research group at the Faculty of Law. My main research interests lie on the intersection between technological developments, everyday digital practices and social change, with a particular focus on the regulatory challenges emanating from the use of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, remotely piloted drones, big data, robotics, biometric technology, etc. My Doctoral research focuses on AI regulation in Medical contexts by exploring the tension that exists between the innovative potential of AI in healthcare and the stringent data protection requirements for the processing of health data in European Data Protection Law.
