Research interests

Dino Girardi holds an LLM in IT Law and Legal Informatics and a law degree from the University of Bologna. He is a PhD candidate in Legal Informatics at the Faculty of Law. Dino holds vast experience in the area of Legal Informatics, eGovernment and Open Government Data. Inter alia he has worked on a research project on the Business Models of Open Data at The Open Data Institute in London, in a project work entitled “Open Data and Re-Use of Public Sector Information in the European Union” at the University of Bologna and has recently worked as Legal Informatics Advisor in the EU project “Time Machine - Big Data of the Past for the Future of Europe”. Currently, he is working in the project TRUST - Promoting Sustainable Practices for Digitalizing Indigenous Cultural Heritage - Global North and South Juxtaposed with the themes of cultural heritage, open data and indigenous data ethics.
