This shift places both energy technologies and R&I at the heart of Europe’s strategy for sustainable prosperity and competitiveness, as outlined in A New Plan for Europe’s Sustainable Prosperity and Competitiveness (Ursula von der Leyen, Political Guidelines 2024).
