Description

This art South-South residency was facilitated by melanie Sarantou in partnership with the Port Augusta Cultural Centre in Australia. The participating Namibian artist was Jacqui Jansen van Vuuren, an notable ceramic and fashion artist in Namibia. Jacqui participated in the Arid Land Sculptural Festival that drew 13,000 visitors in 2016. She also facilitated a ceramics workshop at Arts Ceduna during her residency in South Australia.
